I dont think he compliments Tavares much at all. Long term, I see Strome as the #2 center on that team with JT as the #1. I can see them sharing some PP time but as far as 5 on 5 goes, I say he is on a different line then JT.

Once he settles in, I can see him confidently putting up 60-70pts.

for sake of comparison would you say he is of equal talent level as a Stepan Granlund Monahan Kuznetsov?

From what I've heard, Stepan seems like a reasonable comparable.

He'll be better than Stepan. This will be a great 1-2 punch in 2018, with Tavares flirting with 100 and Strome hitting a point per game. All things going swimmingly, that is (which is rarely the case)

I think the burning question is....what percentage of managers today will still be with the same fantasy team in 2018?

A better question is why even be involved in a league if you expect it to fold within the next three years.

I said team, not league. And that's based on looking at the turn over in the leagues I've joined over the last two years. The turnover is much, much higher than I ever would have anticipated.

Compares favourably to Kyle Turris. He won't hit ppg.

    I think he'll flirt with 50 points next season (15 g , 35 assists)

he will eventually become a staple on the isles #1 powerplay (probably supplant F.Nielsen)but that might not happen until later in season or if a coaching change occurs .

What happened to your "Strome will bust" tag line? Now he's Kyle Turris good?

Don't think I said Strome will bust. he's just not a PPG guy or even close.

I think you're looking at 75+ as the upside for Strome. Really skilled player and can benefit from teams needing to focus on Tavares. I'd expect over or around 50 next year.

About a year ago or so, you has a signature that said, "Strome will bust." I thought that was pretty funny stuff. I remember that well as I was a Strome owner at the time, and the guy made me nervous. Ended up packaging him up in a deal for Druoin.
