The other question is - do you have to make all 5 picks? If not why not try and package picks for an upgrade such as your 2nd, 3rd +5th for an upgrade to your 2nd - even if you only move up a few spots - get a guy you want.
Just a thought, because if your pick in the 5th round isn't an upgrade to what you have then why make the pick. Try and find a trading partner with not much depth.

Exactly, if what is still on the table isn't as good as Bystrom, I'd definitely keep him. No point trading good longshots for further away longshots. In pools like this, I often clear away the obvious chaff, and then gauging by what's left, see if I can flip some late ones either to move up or for another year, and then decide whether I'll pass on my 5th rounders and the like. If you don't have to decide ahead of time, just wait and see if anyone you like falls. I'm in agreement with Bell, Grenier and Murphy for the first three, but kind of like Bystrom.
