    Default Elias Lindholm's value

In a league with the following stats.

G,A, SOG, GWG, PPP, SHP, FOW, H+B

Is he a permanent winger now or will he retain/return to the C position moving forward (FOW element)?

what's his upside at Carolina across the next 2-3 seasons?

Who would you compare him to?

It wouldn't surprise me if Lindholm remains a winger for the next while. And I also think it will take him awhile to be fantasy relevant in pretty much any format.

To me he is the guy to wait on for three years and then pick up

I'm guessing you don't play in deep leagues...

while I don't disagree with your opinion, I need to get an estimate of where he could get to... Comparison/upside etc.

What sort of player do I own here?

I haven't seen enough of him to really comment on comparisons but I think he's a solid player in Carolina and I would expect in a few years he would approach 25g and 35a type of production if he continues to develop. I like his situation and think he will become more of a focal point as early as this upcoming year. Will he hit 80 points next year? NO. Will he approach 45 next year? I think so
I hope this helps as I couldn't fully answer your question

I think a big part of answering this question will come with the offseason decisions that are facing the Hurricanes. They have a new GM, so the roster could be in for anything from a small retool, to a large overhaul. I wouldn't expect Lindholm to be part of that (in fact I think he's among the most untouchable on the Canes roster, along with Faulk and Skinner) but if you see one of the Staals move, things change for him. A Staal moving gives lindholm the opportunity to shift to center, giving you FOW options. However it likely brings his next season offense down a bit since he'll have to adjust to being an NHL center.

I don't think he'll be ready for two more seasons IMO.

Next season, 30 pts. The next season, 45+. I might not draft him next season but I dont want to miss out by the time 2015-16 rolls around.
