what does my post have anything to do with lucifer? dubi is exactly the type of player you need on a playoff team, especially to shutdown your opposition's best. look how well he did last round against crosby, it's not like nash has done much this playoffs except get the puck on net. he's been subpar defensively, awful offensively...so yea i'd take dubinsky over him in a heartbeat.

So, if you had the choice of taking one player for your Leafs, you would choose Dubinsky over Rick Nash?

    Just a question.

because lucifer hates Nash too and blames him for all the Rangers woes... and thinks he 'sucks' because he's not leading the team scoring

without a doubt, and i'd name him captain. he's the type of guy that would set examples to the younger guys, gives 100% every shift.

don't get me wrong, nash is a unique player given his size and ability to score goals. i just think if you want to win, you need guys like dubinsky on your team. saying nash sucks was a bit of an overstatement, but i'd still take dubinsky every time. is it just me that likes dubinsky over nash?

yea "sucks" is a bit of a stretch, he is a gamebreaker at times. just not consistent enough for my liking.

i will be honest, once that trade went down i thought the rangers won easily. i don't think columbus would swap dubi for nash straight up if they were offered the chance.

Personally I don't like it. The Pens have no depth at all with Crosby and Malkin on the same line. This line will only work long term if they can play those two 30+ minutes per night or if they can bring in a big time center in the off season.

I would too. Dubinsky's skill set would be a lot more useful for the Leafs than Nash's. Leafs already have plenty of "scoring" wingers. What they lack is solid two-way centermen.

I didn't necessarily mean Crosby's wing - just on the wing in general. I'm on the other side though, I do like them playing together. Not sure if it will work long term, but it's going to give teams a lot of trouble as they try to figure out how to stop both of them at once.

Looks like the Rangers have come to play today - beating the Penguins to every loose puck, winning all the 1-1 battles and are up 2-0

Kreider back...huge rally behind St. Louis and Fleury looking like...well Fleury

Rangers just need to take this one game at a time, they proved they can spank the Pens with the right attitude and intensity, if they bring even half that in game 6 they could well make this a series again

It's easy. Load up all of your best shutdown players against them and the Pens can't score goals anymore. Fourth liners can shutdown the other 3 lines.

Tough loss for Pitt but they still have enough wiggle room. NY has had problems all year at home...

As far as Nash or Dubinsky question goes

I think the better question is Nash or Dubinsky AND Anisimov !
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.
