Tonight was his first real good game. The first shutout was due to the team, he did nothing to win it or lose it. But tonight, he did what a quality goalie was supposed to do - he stole a couple of goals. Not many, but a couple. And that's a start

i think this has been one of the penguins better stretches of play over the past few post seasons, however, they are still taking too many dumb/selfish penalties. if NYR were any threat on the PP then these games could have ended much differently.

Rangers seem to be playing with very little intensity early on in game 3.

Shit schedule but you can't stop Crosby right now

I'm still in the camp that believes Sid is carrying an injury. From my perspective Malkin is carrying the Pens in this series.

I thought Crosby was better than him tonight. No coincidence that Malkin has looked rejuvenated playing with him IMO.

either way the entire group is playing well and the rangers look slow and worn down. I don't think anyone is carrying the penguins by themselves although Crosby and Malkin are dominant.

I don't know. Although he's playing well and battling, Crosby just doesn't seem as dynamic and explosive as usual. I of agree that the Rags look like tired/beaten down bunch though.

I thought he was flying tonight, relentless on the puck. But the whole game was boring anyway so that might be it.

And fleury deserves a lot of credit IMO

Impossible to win with a total of 15 SOG. Seems to me this series is more of the Rangers losing it, rather than the Pens winning it. Still not sold on the Pens for the Cup. Orpik left hurt again, that's gonna hurt them down the road.

I'm convinced that Malkin belongs on the wing, I hope they keep him there.

Pittsburgh was still the favorite regardless of what people( myself included) thought going in.

    That Rangers schedule is killer.

This was supposed to be a showcase series for the NHL.

    Some showcase.
