i think bruins will dominate, size advantage is just too much. i suppose price could steal a game for the habs, but i doubt it. i have a big feeling krejci dominates this series, and it will be a quick one.

one thing is for certain. officiating will be poor in this series, both teams will be complaining about calls, fans will be calling the other team out on embellishing.
Haha, kudos to you for going bold. I just thought the Bruins in 4 was a little too bold. I am a habs fan, yes, but if I do try to look at it from a truly unbiased perspective, I think it should go to 6 games even if Bruins win. Habs always seem to play the Bruins tough, have been the hottest team since the deadline, and have the season series on them 3-1. Playoffs are a different animal, but it takes quite a lot to do a sweep. I just don't see it being anywhere close to a sweep. Wouldn't be surprised if it went to 7 games. But that said, I still commend you for the bold prediction!

    Bruins in 6.

The games will be close and Montreal will put up a huge push vs the B's but in the end, Boston proves to be to much and wears down the Habs. Boston has layers and layers of depth and then Rask behind all that depth.

Bruins in 5. I'd choose the Bruins to beat any team in the East. If Boston loses before the Final, just give the Cup to the Western Conference already.

    Best rivalry in hockey.

Bruins built for war and a deep playoff run.

Too much for the Habs to handle in just about every facet here.

There's lots of fantastic rivalries in hockey, and it all depends on what teams your a fan of, so this just isn't true. Philly-Pittsburgh is just as good.

Nobody gives a lick about the season series, it really doesn't matter at all. Playoffs are a different beast. Vanek is gonna learn what real playoff hockey is a go hide in the corner. Bruins in 6, but I wouldn't be shocked if they did it in 5 or 4. Canadiens don't have the depth to match up with Boston, and the fact that the B's PP is rolling like it basically never has should be terrifying to any opponent.

Agreed. It is a matter of perspective but I would argue that Philly-Pitt doesn't have near the history that the Bruins-Habs have had. Not many match-ups do and that's why in my opinion this is one of the best rivalries.

That said I would still love to see all the peace, goodwill and sportsmanship a Pens-Flyers series would bring us ; )

Fück the Bruins and the city of Boston...damned if they don't have a solid team top to bottom though, Habs will need to play their A-game throughout
They always play the Bs tough though, this should be a good series

    Habs in 7

    PS: fück the Bruins

While I'd love to see Montreal move on, I just don't think it will happen. Boston in 6.

For those of you going Habs (like me), current bodog odds are 3:1. Pretty dang good if you want to bet.
