Welcome addition and obvious upgrade in skill, no doubt, but I would not expect too much. Who knows how fit this is, and this is Detroit's last ditch effort to come back in the series? Also, according to the article, he will play limited minutes (10 - 12 minutes) and I expect Boston to come down hard on him.

All that said, I really like him as a player and would like to see him do well (and Bruins to lose!)

Let's be brutally honest here, the Red Wings have no shot at winning the cup, so for THAT reason, why bring him back and risk aggravating this injury. Why not let him get fully healthy and go balls to the wall next year.
