I generally think that the NHL needs to get better at punishing for the play, not the result, but in this specific instance with history and impact on series if this isn't an in person hearing I would be very surprised (and let down)

Cooke has an "In-Person" hearing in NY. He gets at least 5 games since it's an in person hearing. My guess he's gone for the rest of the playoffs.

A torn medial collateral ligament is rarely treated with surgery, although it will depend where on Barrie's leg the inury occurred. In some cases doctors do an incision with either a screw or stitches.
Its a lot of rest, stabilize the knee and then tons of rehab (which Cooke should pay for)
So no golf or tennis. Maybe Tyson can go fishing this offseason ?
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.
