Default Compare Two Trades..Thanks in advance

I appreciate the input on my last post for advice... I got another which I think worth comparing. I think I'm weak in pitching so leaning toward #2 but in 12 team theres lots of Streaming opps. Again... I love the feedback

Trade #1 Votto/ Beltran (NY) for Ortiz/ Verlander

    Trade #2 Votto/ Matt Carpenter for Fielder/Encarnacion

This is a standard Yahoo scoring league (HR,BA,SB,R,RBI// K's,Wins,ERA,WHIP,Saves)

Again, including your stat categories would allow for a more accurate answer to your question but without that I'll say...

Trade #1 is better than trade option #2 if for the simple fact that you need pitching and can effectively replace Votto's production with Ortiz. Verlander instantly becomes the best arm on your staff. If this is a limited keeper you lose a bit in the long run giving up Votto but it's worth it if you need pitching, Verlander will help with that.

i agree with Nuge. Your team looks to be built to win, so adding a good SP like Verlander to go with your young arms would help. Ortiz isa good enough replacement for Votto. Not sure if Cruz is RF eligible, but if he is, your bench seems less then impressive for a Util option.
