Default Holtby vs Scrivens vs Lehner

How would you rank Holtby, Scrivens and Lehner in terms of the next 3 seasons? I've got Holtby and Scrivens, I'm considering offering one for Lehner. Should I stand pat or go for it?

Go for it. Lehner will be a beast and legit #1 in Ottawa before to long. The future is somewhat more cloudy for both Scrivens and Holtby.

I would trade Scriven's for Lehner but not Holtby. All three goalies have uncertain future for different reasons. I think Holtby's experience, in spite of recent struggles, gives him the edge over the other two. Trusting the goalies in Edmonton doesn't seem like a save play these days.

Definitely try to own Lehner and Holtby, I have a feeling it may even pay off as of next year.

I would go for Lehner as Anderson has 1 year left in his contract so this may be a buy low opportunity to pick him up. Ottawa says he is their goalie of the future. After next year his value will sky rocket. Edmonton goaltending is up in the air, who know what in will look like in 2-3 years. I'm hoping Fasth takes over the starting.

    Lehner for sure.

I have no idea how this idea of Holtby being a great or desirable goalie to own came from. I blame dobber or a hangover of the idea of the Caps being a strong team. He's an average NHL goalie.

Not sure I agree with you on that about Holtby, I think he's much better than average, he just had a bad year.

    Lehner
    Holtby
Scrivens (he might be good but that team will ruin him)

Save this year, have you seen his stats? He's only 24 (incredibly young for a goalie) and has posted exceptional save % over the course of his career.

Keep Holtby for sure. Edmonton had a goaltending merry go round last year. Who's the real #1 right now; Scrivens or Fasth? Trade Scrivens for Lehner if you can

I would way rather have Lehner than Holtby. Much better pedigree and a much better goalie, period. Holtby's mechanics, head and team are all a complete mess and I have watched enough of him to know that absolute best-case scenario is that he becomes an average NHL starting goalie, and strongly doubt he gets there. I would jump on the opportunity to trade him for Lehner. To be honest, I don't see either Holtby or Scrivens as being keeper-worthy unless you are in the deepest of leagues.

Very good chance this becomes true. One thing that we can be reasonably sure of is that Holtby is NOT = Rask, at any point, ever.
