What will the Oilers do without the lucky horseshoe they'd crammed up Tambellini's butt?

If you're the Oilers, you have 100% chance of winning 1st overall for the next 10 years.

Anyone but Edmonton. Can't believe they're there again.

Hope buffalo wins as they need all the help they can get, it could be a long rebuilding process. Actually first choice would be Jets -
    Piranha Hockey League est 1990 - Oakley Doakley's - 16 teams
    Pts only W=2 OL=1 SO=3 Auction Draft

    WHL - est 2016 Expansion - Glasgow Kiss - 24 teams

If edomonton wins it wont affect buffalo. Sabres going with a forward anyways, and Edmonton wuld def take Ekblad

If Winnipeg doesn't win it I'll be hoping for Buffalo or Calgary. Edmonton's had enough, Florida's got plenty in the pipeline, Vancouver had their kick at the can not long ago, the Islanders have Tavares... and I don't care about Carolina, although they've got more going on than Buffalo or Calgary.

I'd love to see Calgary win it. I have a thing for Calgary. I like Ramo and Monahan.

    I'll let DGB explain:

And while basic fairness says we should all be rooting for the last-place Buffalo Sabres’ number to come up, here’s hoping we get something more fun. Here are three long shots that would cause maximum chaos:

    • The Senators get the top choice, then remember they traded their pick to the Ducks last summer.

    • The Devils “win” the first overall pick, but still have to choose 30th because of the Ilya Kovalchuk ruling.

    • The Maple Leafs get the top pick, at which point everyone spends the next decade screaming conspiracy theories about new Leafs president Brendan Shanahan getting a parting gift from Gary Bettman.

Come on hockey gods, you’ve already forsaken the 14 loser teams. At least give us one of these three outcomes to laugh about before the rest of the league moves on to the real season.

Ruthless. But I could still live with it. Ryan was worth it. And arguably a 1st overall pick.

I really hope New Jersey wins it, and then Ottawa wins it with the re-pick. Absolute best possible scenario haha.
