I agree with the above, if it is a league of friends.

The other question is have you confronted the league commissioner and got his side of the story? Would be a bummer if it is a long running league.
Can some controls be put in place for the future or just get a new commish.

He was too busy at lunch time to come and see us but I am sure he will try to explain us something....but the log are not liying...and he even try to hide it with changing the date from the day before. Give me only one reason why as a Commish you need to use your admin right to do a change....on your own team...I tried the best I can and I cant find any situation where it'S acceptable!

thanks for your help...my point here's was to show my friends from that pool was is the general opinion on a commish who is cheating!

I say quit the league, I wouldn't want to be in a league where the commissioner was caught cheating.

If everyone caught him, and it's a money league, he's gone. He gets no money. If he won't leave, you and the others should.

No having him step down. Cheating should equal automatic expulsion no matter who does it.

And while you say the moves never got him any points, I'm guessing it's not the first time he's done it. He might have finished first from doing this stuff throughout the season.

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

What if he's the guy holding the money!? Yikes. Like you said, it's probably not the first time he's fiddled with a line-up after the deadline. Not cool. I know it was mentioned that he never benefited from the change that was caught, but he COULD have and that's really what it's about, giving the commish an unfair opportunity to tweak his roster when no one else can.

the good thing is FANTRAX website is amazingly well done.... and after reviewing everything...he got a WIN with the first move....so...he'S not tie anymore without that WIN...NOw he'S the guy who got the money and he wants to join the playoff pool... saying that it's a Honest mistake!!!!!
Not sure how we gonna end that.... for sure he will not be the commish anymore but for the rest...money or not, back or not....we got a vote on that .....

I realize a lot of people like fantrax because of how much flexibility it gives you, but I question the reasoning behind allowing anyone, including the commish, to be able to alter the lineups after a game has started. I am sure there must me legitimate reasons, but to me is seems like giving that much freedom is just asking for trouble.

With money involved you are in a tough place for this year. Hopefully he will do the right thing and even if it is an honest mistake, he clearly should not be claiming any of the money. I also agree that he should not be commish anymore and if he is, you should leave.

    Sue. lol.

If it's a league with randoms, kick him out with no money. If it's a league with friends (and you guys are tight), remove his commish power, name someone else commish and give him last place for the year no matter what, if you want to keep him in bc you guys are tight. Or, the league folds itself and restarts without him. Same thing as option #1 is pretty well the result.

    That shit is awful.
