No Legwand, no Trotz. End of an era.

I don't think he'll be out of a job for very long.....

No Legwand, no Trotz. End of an era.
Called it a few weeks ago. Although glad Legwand is gone, Trotz will have a bit bigger impact.
Poile said he wants to change direction, and frankly I think we can do so if he himself peaces out as well. That would be perfect.
Time to become a contender, and no longer a pretender
Trotz to the Leafs... ooooo.... interesting.
I think its time for a change in philosophy in Nashville. While I think Trotz has done amazing things with limited talent (at times) there, sometimes a change is good for both the team and the coach.
I agree, he will land on his feet somewhere quickly.
BTW - your link doesn't work.

Trotz did an incredible job with what he was given. It's hard to consider his body of work as anything but a success. Taking an expansion franchise to the post-season 7 times in the last decade and even being able to knock off contenders and make it to the second round. Incredible, considering the dearth of offensive talent he had available to him. He will have many suitors if he still wants to work. A-grade coach in my books.
Blades of Steel

Agreed. If Maurice chooses not to resign in the Peg, what are the chances the Jets go after Trotz?

And this is why you don't draft prospects because of the current coach.
Yeah, I've heard a few rumours about Trotz making his way back to Manitoba. Seems like lots of coaches coming available with ties to the area. Carlyle could be another one.
I'd love to see the Leafs fire Carlyle and hire Trotz.
Straight Points keeper league. Keep 5 Forwards,3 defence,1 goalie.
F: Nicklas Backstrom, Joe Thornton, Henrik Zetterberg, Zach Parise, Logan Couture
D: Erik Karlsson, Alex Pietrangelo, Oliver Ekman-Larsson
G: Sergei Bobrovsky
Would love to see Trotz coaching NYR. He'd work wonders with that roster.
So, who is going to be the first Nashville forward since JP Dumont to break the 60pt barrier?
