    If things are rolling, no need to rush Duchene. If not, maybe he comes back too early. Varly is the deciding factor for this young group.

    Minnesota in 7.

    Very tough call here. I don't like Bryz at all and I think the Avalanche have a big advantage in the goal tending department. However, I think the Wild will get through based on their defensive play and the absence of Duchene.

    COL sits 27th in the league in 5-5 Fenwick%...their puck possession stinks. They also give up more SOG/G than any other team who qualified for the post-season...they sit 25th. MIN sits 5th in that stat. Bottom line...this series should be way closer than the 1 vs. 8 seed would lead us to believe. I absolutely think this may well come down to whether or not Duchene is able to play. With him in the lineup COL possesses too much strength down the middle and too many scoring weapons for me to pick the upset, but without him...it's close and with Suter on D I would lean towards MIN.

    With Duchene...COL in 6.
    Without Duchene...MIN in 7.
