Anaheim in 7.
The Stars have the edge 2-1 in the season series and are back in the playoffs after a
6 year stint on the sidelines. Can Tyler Seguin and Jaime Benn take this team deep? They face a stout 1st round opponent.
Prediction: Anaheim in 6 games.
Anaheim in 7.
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.
If it goes 7, then I give Dallas a chance, but IMO, ANA in 5 (worst case, 6).

I'm calling Dallas in this one.
Pretty similar teams when you really think about it:
Dynamic Duos up front (Seguin/Benn and Getz/Perry)
Youngish Ds that surprise with some offense.
40-year-old vets for leadership (Selanne/Koivu and Whitney/Gonchar)
Goalies that can win a series.
Comparable PPs, both take a lot of shots...
The big drop-off is the secondary scoring for Anaheim, but Dallas has been in playoff mode for awhile.
Just got a feeling the Stars will come in feeling no pressure and will take this one.

Stars in 6.
I like the upset here. I really think the Ducks are overrated and I think the Stars match up quite well with them. I also think the crease situation in Anaheim has to be a concern. If the Stars can shutdown or limit Getz & Perry... they'll have a great chance.
It's hard not to think the F depth of ANA is simply too much for DAL [too big, too fast, too skilled]. Does anyone else think DAL regrets dealing S. Robidas to ANA at the deadline right now? I also think Beauchemin/Robidas have a far better chance of limiting Seguin/Benn than any DAL D have of limiting Getzlaf/Perry. I was really hoping for a DAL/COL series as I thought they matched up better. I should add...DAL has the worst road record of all playoff-bound teams. When they can't dictate matchups they aren't great.
I've got ANA in 5.
