Why are the Montreal fans booing Stamkos and his injury? Are we adults?

Im honestly this close to not following hockey anymore, it's clear there is extreme bias to the big market teams and the league is just a joke compared to other professional leagues. If the score holds this game is tarnished and so is the cup race. I've Had enough of this crap.

This call was simply embarrassing. The 3 Blind Mice could do a better job tonight. Did Kerry Fraser and Mick Magoo start reffing again? Just Brutal.

they were booing the penalty...Prust and Stamkos got tied up, Stamkos went down sliding into Emelin who did everything he could to get out of his way but still clipped him...So Gudas went after Prust under the 'protect your star' principle and both got a penalty. It probably shoulda just been Gudas since they called nothing on the Stamkos play

I'm listening to the radio feed in the car. Not watching on TV so its hard to really see what the heck is going on. Just going by what the announcers say.

Bad penalties get called all the time, it is part of the game like it or not. Refs usually make up a bad penalties later in the game but they cant make up a disallowed goal.

Robin Lehner we was plowed by Vanek before the game tying goal was scored in the big collapse in March, no call, yet they call this bullshit in a playoff game. This is worse than the nba reffing.

You can't make up a PP goal on a shite call either though...tit for tat I say

I don't like the interference call much either but he did make contact with Price so I'm guessing that's what the ref was reacting to. That's one of my least favorite penalties though since it is so widely open to interpretation and it often doesn't take into account when a player gets pushed into the goal and is simply trying to extract himself to rejoin the play.

Hopefully everyone watched the intermission. Ron and the guys were debating the call and read the rule as it stands.

Basically, if the Tampa player gets into the crease on his own volition (which happened), and Price bangs into him, any goal does not count. It doesn't matter if Price initiated contact, or if Subban held up the Tampa player. The rule as read means no goal.

Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

    I said I was close.

There is just no defending that call, habs fan or not.

If there is a hockey god, the lightning will win this game.

Except the actual goal happened well after the contact. Ron sticking up for refs as usual.
