I got Miller'd twice

F*cking Ryan Miller. I made a trade for him before he got traded and it was supposed to be a steal but he kills me when it counts

So I'm immeasurably screwed in goaltending, and at risk of losing the championship despite having the best team by far.

I'm slaughtering him in most offensive categories, but since this H2H counts W,L,GAA,Sv%, and SO, I'm losing the matchup 6-5

Goalie stats are:
Me - W-0,L-2,GAA-3.94,Sv%-.814,SO-0
Him - W-4,L-1,GAA-2.23,Sv%-.933,SO-1

In other words, he's winning in all of them

I have Rask and Khudobin as my other goalies. My question is, do you think it would be smart to just bench my goalies for the rest of the week and hope that he racks up a couple losses so that I can win or tie in Losses? I'm not catching him in W, GAA, or Sv%, thanks to Miller, so the only shot would be a SO. I think I'll start Rask against Buf on Saturday no matter what, but other than that, would it be smart to let my goalies ride the bench?

Well I'd be playing your goalies as much as possible. Can't get any worse could it?

Maybe depending on who his goalies are, and if they have a tough game up ahead.

Well I have Miller and Khudobin 'starting' tomorrow, but most likely neither of them will play. He has Varlamov vs SJ and Ramo vs Wpg.
Then Saturday I have Rask vs Buf, which I will start no matter what, and he has Fluery vs Phi.
Sunday we both have all of our goalies playing. If I am tied or winning in losses on Sunday, I'm considering just benching my goalies and accepting the win in the losses category.
I guess its a bit early to decide but I just can't see myself recovering from this shitstorm Miller put me through

Yeah his goalies are good enough, just roll with whoever you have. Probably hoping for a SO like you mentioned.

might as well roll your goalies and hope someone gets a shutout. If he gets a loss then maybe you can shut down your goalies then. Crazier things have happened. Philly might pop 8 goals vs Pitt ( sorry not playoffs yet )
