Yes, he's there for the long haul and will continue at status quo, barring injury

I concur. He'll be riding shotgun on the top line with Crosby - he's good for 30+ goals and 70+ points.

I traded for him in a points-only, assuming the same thing as you guys.
He's locked-in with Sid, has a new deal, so count on 70ish for the next two, three years.
Classic case of a good player finding chemistry with a superstar, and becoming a very good point-producer as a result of that.
To be clear, I don't think any number is set in stone for Kunitz. He could have ups and downs like anyone else. But his role is set in stone so he'll have the best odds of doing well. He could fall anywhere between 60 and 80 depending on GP and Crosby (103 points is nice but not his best output). Just posting this because even if he drops a bit next year it doesn't mean he's done or that he was a bad investment.

Kunitz is a 65pt guy, +/- 10pts. 30+ goals!!!
More important, in a league with only FIVE skater cats, including PPG & PIM, Kunitz is a beast.
I see you are considering him... swayed you, did I? (Yoda voice)

I am not a believer in Kunitz myself and I have a feeling that we'll look back in a few years and see 2013 as an anomaly from him.
Prior to last season he spent three full seasons with Sid and averaged 52-61 points pro-rated to 82 games for his injury seasons, then, in the calendar year of 2013 he exploded for 95 points in 90 games. Since the new year though, Kunitz has produced 24 points in 35 games for an 82 game pace of 56 points which is back inline with his career stats and what I would suggest is his likely production despite playing with Crosby.
Actually, I just remembered that his 61 point season in 2011-12 was spent playing primarily on a line with Malkin and Neal since Crosby only managed 22 games. I would make the argument that playing with those two would be more beneficial than playing with Crosby and whoever fills in the RW on that line.
He's still plenty productive, but I'd only take him as a 55-60 point guy maximum for next season and considering he'll be 35 when the season starts I would expect those numbers to go down by about 5 points per season afterwards.
If you have him his sell high window is still open but it's going to close as next season gets underway.
Oh, and I'd be keeping Pietrangelo too.

He'll turn 35 in September. I would be comfortable projecting 2 more years of this elite production. After that I would expect others on the roster to have surpassed him (ie. less time with Crosby) which could spell the end of his run.
I once traded Henrik Lundqvist and Ilya Kovalchuk in return for Peter Budaj and Henrik Zetterberg… have lived in shame ever since.
