    Default Bobby Ryan Trade Value

Hey Guys - I know a lot of threads in regards to picks don't get much for answers but I was curious.

Looks like Bobby Ryan is the odd man out on my keeper squad. If I were to trade him for picks straight up where would you value him?

13 team league keep 6. Most teams keep two goalies. 52 players kept 26 goalies kept.

Any other thoughts on a potential trade or idea involving Ryan?

Depends on the other GMs, but I don't think you'd get more than a second rounder for him. So I'd aim for that. Although you might need to take two thirds or something like that instead.

I dunno about this. Peronally, I think Ryan is a borderline keeper in your league with 13 teams that only keeps 6, with heavy goalie keeps. If you cound find a team with a weak 6th keeper, get to talking about Ryan. If he offers you ANY pick, take it! Start mid-round pick and work later until he agrees. Your alternative is to loose him for nothing. There is no way you'll get a high pick for a borderline guy.

As mentioned before a 2nd rounder is probably what you can trade him for..If you can't get that, I say drop him. Personally I'm not a fan of accepting picks for a guy, below what i value him at, just so I don't lose him for nothing. If you trade him for anthing less than a 2nd, you are just watering down the field of draftable players.
