Drew Leblanc - Chi
Any thoughs on this guys development. I thought he might have got a few games with big club this year. What type of upside and how is he doing in Chicago system?

He turns 25 in June so time is not on his side. With only 22 points in the AHL this year I'm thinking bust. The one thing saving him is a one-way deal next year. It probably means waivers/demotion but at least he'll still be owned by an NHL team and not completely forgotten.

If Brandon Pirri couldn't stick, I doubt LeBlanc can. With Toews, TT, Shaw, Kruger, Denault, McNeil, Nordstrom, and even college guys like Hayes and Hayden, the Hawks have a lot of depth at center for the future. Granted, some of those guys might be better suited at wing but they all have better upside than LeBlanc. The prospects are a couple years younger than Leblanc too.

Thanks for the info guys as I did have some hope for him. Will see what happens next year, best hope is someone claims him off waivers.
