Deadwood and Firefly seem to be really popular choices, but I miss The Borgias, a great historical drama about the mostly criminal pope Alexander VI. It was well done, but didn't even get to Alexander's horrible death (assassination??) in 1503 before being cancelled.

Lucky louie on HBO. Starred Louie C.K. and Pamela Adlon. Hilarious and lasted one season. Also The Young ones on MTV back in the 80's, another classic. Reality Tv has nothing on these 2 cult classics

I hear ya! I watch the older episodes on Sundance Channel - aired on Monday nights. I love the older episodes circa 90s, before all the spinoffs and their convoluted/unrealistic plot lines.Originally Posted by newfcollins

Life, with Damien Lewis (and Sarah Shahi, former NFL cheerleader). Lasted two seasons and I felt like they were really piecing it together, then nothing.......

Lot's of good ones said. Here's a couple more.
Better Off Ted - Fantastic comedy. Sort of a twisted Office type comedy. Ellen's wife was on it.
Futurama - I should be thankful it came back TWICE, but it was still awesome and I would have loved to see more episodes. One of the most clever shows ever. The little things made the show. Producers and writers were utterly superb for most episodes.
Undeclared - Freaks and Geeks gets more buzz but I liked Undeclared better.
I want to say Fringe, although I should probably be happy the writers didn't toally muck up the ending and that it reached as many seasons as it did. I just loved the show and would have loved to see more.

Good choices! Better off Ted was pretty quirky but had me hooked. Futurama was great, a really under appreciated cartoon, with some really good story lines and heart.
And I really liked Fringe too. Even though I felt like the last season was a bit drawn out, it added a few more episodes to the run which I enjoyed. Couldn't get enough.

My Name is Earl. I know it was on for awhile but it just suddenly vanished without an ending. I liked Journeyman, and My Own worst Enemy. They lasted less than one sesaon each. Brimstone was good too. Man I will say though for tour of duty when I heard "Paint it Black" starting my folks would be sending me to bed.

I kind of forgot about Tour of Duty. It was a great show especially because you never knew who was going home in a body bag. " I see a red door and I want to paint it black"

I miss Seinfeld. I know they were on for a long time, but the writers seemed to touch on so many current events and the characters were so awesomely bad. It's not like Seinfeld had much to do after the show ended their run, but I think Larry David (I think that was one of the key guys) had other things he wanted to do. I didn't like the ending either.
I was following Carnivale closely until they shut it down. My Name is Earl was fun to watch.

I tried, but just couldn't get into it. I only watched maybe 3 or 4 shows, so maybe I didn't give it enough time?
