You made out really nice in that trade. You get the hottest player in the league right now plus two buy-low guys for next season; great work!

Even though I am not a big fan of Enstrom, I would have to agree and say that you made out pretty well.. Nyquist and Ryan win you this deal over Elias and Schwartz..

Strongly prefer the Nyquist side here. I don't know what the other GM's objective was. Schwartz is a nice piece but as core asset when Nyquist and Ryan are going the other way.....nice work
I once traded Henrik Lundqvist and Ilya Kovalchuk in return for Peter Budaj and Henrik Zetterberg… have lived in shame ever since.

Trading isn't about 'winning' or 'losing' the trade, it's about improving your team. Guys in my league have this outlook on trading and it's really frustrating as they are impossible to deal with.....they will only make a trade if it blatantly lopsided in their favor so they can 'win' the trade. Conversely, there are a couple in my league that are scared to make any moves for fear of 'losing' a trade.....it's just the wrong way to look at it. Look at the numbers and the players and ask yourself if you improved your team, that's the important question.
