Default Howard, Bernier or Kuemper - playoff life on the line!!!

    Howard @ TOR
    Bernier vs. DET
    Kuemper vs. PHO

I have the horrible GAA and SV% which is a lost cause. It's all about the W now. Losing 6.5 to 5.5

    G A +/- SOG GWG PPP SHP FOW W GAA SV SV%
    13 22 -1 116 2 13 0 126 0 4.16 82 .845 Away
    6 24 0 104 1 6 0 135 1 2.50 45 .900 Home

Thanks in advance for any insight/advice.

Easy decision here.. Bernier & Kuemper. No way you can start Howard in TOR IMO. However, you can guarantee a win if you start Bernier & Howard... Depends how many wins you need. If you want to gamble for two wins go Bernier & Kuemper.

Thanks for the feedback. I apologize for not being clear. I can only start 1 goalie. All 3 of my goalies have trended down. I was leaning toward Kuemper simply because Greiss will be in net for Pho, but perhaps it doesn't matter with Pho playing well and at home. I guess I'm torn between Bernier and Kuemper. Maybe Bernier should be my start. He's at home and is my number 1. Go hard or go home, huh?

Anyone else care to chime in? I keep seeing pros and cons for all 3.

You do have a predicament. Personally, I would go with Howard.

Tell me about it. Last week or the week before, it was great....figures... Early on, my offense did nothing... Then hit by the injury big hard. Now I got a little healthier and I'm scoring but all 3 of these MFers have singed the bed all week. Not 1 game EVERY SINGLE start. Unreal.

Really. Give some rationale behind that.

Looking at how many games each team has lost and how competitive they were as well as how sorry my guys have played, I don't think there is any such thing as home ice advantage. I think I'm going with Howard. At least he looked the part not too long ago. Bernier hasn't won since coming back from injury. Don't know if he's right yet. Det has lost 3 in a row but their young boys look like they are playing. Tor's D has been real sh*tty lately. Think they've lost 7 in a row. Lastly, Det beat them the last game. I think this May be that time of year where their experience has them playing better down the line that the inexperienced Leafs.

If anyone else wants to chime in, please do. As of now, this is where I am at. Can't believe these guys as a unit...smh

Based on what I have seen, I do not expect TOR to get better (make the playoffs) and DET is playing for their playoff lives, so I expect them to play hard.

It also seems to me that the players may have tuned off Carlysle and this is Detroit we are talking about - they always find a way (so Coaching and intangibles, I have to go with DET). I could be proved wrong but somehow I just don't see the Leafs torching the Red Wings today.

Thank you for that. Looks like my climb got steeper as my opponent got his 2nd win ( Johnson - BOS). I have Howard tomorrow vs. TB
