    I...am your father.

Default Movies tonight - Non-Stop or Divergent?

My pick, as it's an early birthday date with the wife (since next week is my big 40th bash with the boys)

But these are two. Anyone see them?

Haven't seen either, but non stop looks just plain brutal.

so go for divergent unless you have other options??

Other options we're getting into chick flicks, or not going at all.

I'll be catching Captain America next week

if you're taking the kids. Mr. Peabody and Sherman was great

Ya chick flicks are no fun if its YOUR date lol.

Need for Speed looks pretty cool though

But for 2 options you've given, Id say divergent. I can't think of anyway where non stop is exciting. I mean there's a killer on a plane. What can they possibly do for that to be exciting for 1.5-2 hours? I hope someone can tell me otherwise, but I just have a hard time with that one lol

I'm all done with the racing movies. Done to death. But I'm a big Liam Neeson fan, that's why it's a candidate. I know people like the Divergent books though

haha okay, well that sums up your choice well then

If you're a Neeson fan (I didn't like taken series) you may enjoy it.

But from preview perspective, Divergent looks more interesting with a better plot.

I didn't even know they were books lol!

Both got respectable if not good/great reviews on rottentomatoes, so they're probably both all right. I might go for Divergent, just because it's a bit different. I feel like I already know the beats for Non-Stop without seeing it, although sometimes that's fine, too, if it delivers.

These two guys would certainly vote for Non-Stop...

Captain America looks amazing! The comic book storyline for the Winter Soldier was fantastic.

This isn't even a contest. One simply does not pass up Liam Neeson's latest action flick.

Seagal was never an automatic skip. You just shut your brain off and enjoy...

But Neeson isn't an action hero. He's been in Taken, Taken 2, and this one. Everything else is practically drama. And Star Wars.

I thought Taken 1 and 2 were pretty good actually! I'm intrigued by Non-Stop , havent' seen it yet but I will. Although I felt like they gave away the possible bad guy in the trailer ... not sure though. Anyway, I heard Divergent was kind of like a Hunger Games kind of thing. If you are Neeson fan I'd say go for it Besides that one will probably be out of the theaters very soon vs Divergent you have plenty of time left still to watch at a later date.

Can't remember Grey or Unknown...and I don't remember his part in Clash

But they sound like romances, to me

Taken was fantastic - it came out just after my first daughter was born, so is was all in my 'protective new father' persona. So I was pumped watching that one!

I'll be going with Non-Stop! Thanks everyone

Really looking forward to Captain America next week though

He's the God/ father in Clash of the Titans if I'm remembering correctly!

Can't wait for Captain America, that's going to be awesome!!!

I saw the trailer for TMNT last night, I'm NOT looking forward to that one ... the messed with the origin of the Turtles and they look kinda ugly!
