H2H playoffs - Luongo this week

Luongo has a rough week ahead with SJ tonight, Phoenix on Thursday and a LA/ANH B2B on the weekend. All road games. I assume Lou gets three of them but it could be a rough week for GAA and SV%. I'm sure many others are faced with a similar potential doomsday scenario as lots of Eastern teams have trouble with the California road trip.

My opponent has an injured Anderson and received good numbers from Montoya yesterday. With Luongo I'm thinking going all-in with the starts hoping to grab W and more likely saves instead of cherry-picking the weaker Phoenix game. I have no other goalie so it's all on Lou.

I'm 90% set on using Luongo every game. It's tough putting him in @ SJ with confidence though.

I like going all in with Lou and adjusting the strategy if he plays well. If he shuts the door on SJ then you shut him down otherwise you roll him 3 times and hope to nab W and SV

I always try to get my goalie stats early as possible, so I can use the rest of the week to make adjustments.

In one of my H2H weeks, I got a good outing from Miller... and may now slow-play the rest of the week to win GAA/SV%.
In another league, I rolled Lack/Kuemper and got shelled. Not I'll be chasing SV & Wins for the remainder of week and trying to roster as many starts as possible to possibly bring that awful GAA/SV% back in check.

Always establish your "path" by getting goalie starts early.

Montoya is in tonight which will go a long way towards deciding my utilization of Luongo the rest of the week. With a GAA of 2.00 it's tough to just sit on it though.

I'm thinking I have no choice but to keep using Luongo. Still four days left in the week for my opponent to get another start which puts W and SV at risk.
