We have five on the farm.
I have Sano, Olt, Bauer, and two discards there now.
I'm hoping to nab one of Springer, Polanco, Giolito, etc. (Guys ranked in the 10-20 range) with an early pick if I don't nab Harvey.
We keep 4 SP -- and mine are good, but increasingly questionable: Greinke, Gio Gonzalez, Hamels, Ryu
I would get Harvey for 2015 without worry -- since our farm is an auto-protect. And if he was good, he could easily un-seed one of my starters methinks.
It's really a matter of if he'd be a better option over guys like Tanaka, Giolito, Syndergaard, J. Gray, Gausman, Stephenson.
Or even if he's better than my current farmer: Bauer.

I like Gray and Giolito alot, and Urias.

Definitely put Harvey at the top of your list. He's more likely to be a top 10 pitcher in 2015 then anyone else you've listed

Unfortunately, his owner had the same thoughts and protected him so HE could keep him next year. (A much bigger gamble, since he gives up a roster position for this season).

not as high on Medlan - his upside isnt where Harvey's is. Also, he likely wont be back until mid-15...could you leave him on the farm for all of this year AND next year? If so, maybe...probably still a better option than a lot of the prospects you've listed, although those other guys would probably have more trade value. If you are in a position to win this year, I think you'd be better off with a Gausman or Stephenson to increase your odds of moving them via a trade. It will probably be 2016 before Medlan would be useful to you

I would deep Harvey on the IR on every team I had if I could...he has that much potential and is that good, even post Tommy John...
