Default NCAA candidates getting NHL contracts 2014

Asides from the few that have already been picked up, who else should we expect to get a contract out of college this season?

I remember a thread like this back before the big "crash" but the one name I can think of off the top of my head is Christian Folin. He almost signed last year with Vancouver.

I just googled his name and found this story worth reading.

Now the race is on between you and I in the UNFFHL to sign them all.

Vancouver just signed - Mike Zalewski today. Projects as a bottom six with some offensive upside but limited.

    http://www.hockeyfights.com/news/196271

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have signed forward Mike Zalewski to a two-year contract.

Zalewski, 21, collected 26 points (9-17-26) in 35 games with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (R.P.I.) in 2013.14 to rank fourth on the team in scoring. The 6’2”, 210 pound forward finished tied for first on the team in shorthanded goals with two. In 75 career NCAA games, Zalewski has compiled 47 points (21-26-47) and 75 penalty minutes.

Prior to joining R.P.I., the New Hartford, NY, native played two seasons with the Vernon Vipers of the BCHL where he was an assistant captain and led the team in scoring in the 2011.12 season with 75 points (38-37-75) in 60 games. He collected 12 points (6-6-12) in 23 playoff games in 2010.11 to help the Vipers win the Mowat Cup and Doyle Cup and also reach the Royal Bank Cup Final.

So this is where you guys are finding your FA's... for anyone not in our league..

Colin Campbell just signed with Detroit. Could be a Justin Abdelkader type of guy.
    http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/p...php?pid=115502

Cody Kunyk just signed with Tampa. He might even get to play in the NHL this year. For some reason he's assigned to the team instead of Syracruse.

Pheonix Copley (Michigan Tech) goalie signed with the Caps, don't' know much about him other than that.So
