lol that might actually be a very accurate description. I guess we'll see what happens this year!
In 2009 I drafted Hamilton after a 32-HR season. I suffered through his 10 home runs that year and picked him up again the next year. Back to 32 HR and 0.359.
I was 'lucky' enough to get him a third year in a row and he managed just 25 HR and 0.298.
I haven't drafted him since then for whatever reason, but I've noticed that he had 43 HR after that, and then last year was 21 and .250
Bottom line, I'm seeing good, bad, good, bad, good, bad. Bodes well for this season. Is he the Prospal of baseball (albeit on a higher level)?

He might do better then last year, but his glory days are done. Why?
3 big reasons, that aren't good for a hitter.
His K% the last 2 years, were his worst 25.5% 24.8%
That's not good missing the ball more.
His O-swing %, the last 2 years were his worst, 43.6% 39.7%
Those are the % of pitches a batter swings at outside the strike zone.
His O-contact% the last 2 years were his worst, 49.4% 54.4%
Those are the % of times of making contact with the ball, at pitches outside the strike zone.
His batting eye has clearly gotton much worse. Chasing more bad pitches, making less contact, striking out more.
Plus he doesn't have Texas to hit in, where he had big splits.
I hope he has a big year this year. I have owned him in my keeper for the past few years and suffered right along with you, through the good and bad.
If he takes off this year, I am moving him and hopefully for a solid return.
