    Default Byfuglien D Status?

Was thinking about what do to with Byfuglien for the rest of the year while he still has D eligibility. He has been playing F for quite some time now. Partly due to the emergence of Trouba. Has anyone heard of him moving back to D or are we seeing another Burns situation? Or is there more speculation of him being moved in the offseason? I was really hoping he would have been moved at the trade deadline to solidify his D status.

    Thanks

I believe we've seen the last of Buff on D for the Jets, save for 4 on 4 and PP.
Ownership tends to be pretty tight-lipped, and I have not heard much speculation of him being moved, although if someone wanted him bad enough it wouldn't surprise me to see Chevy oblige.
That said, I don't expect a move. If I were to guess I'd say Byfuglien continues as is for the foreseeable future.

He plays the role of immovable object in front of the net well. I think he is more valuable to the team there in most situations. The Jets are deep on D so it makes sense to use his versatility to their advantage.

Byfuglien's d-status scares me for next season too. Yahoo is too unpredictable with assigning positions. I really hope he keeps d-eligibility.

I just trade for Byfuglien so they better not keep as a forward. Somewhere I saw that Bufff is not happy being a forward. I forget where.

Not being a buff owner and being that he lines up as a forward... I'm hoping he loses the d eligibility, cause it would weaken a competitor.

The service providers are in a tough spot overall. When a guy has a history of playing F and D it's tough to predict into the future which position he'll be playing next year.

Lol.. Yeah I have a feeling most of my competition is wishing the same for me, since I'm a Byfuglien owner too.
