I've already posted, but thought I'd say that the more I think about Miller in St. Louis, the more I think he might be a top 3 fantasy option at his position for the foreseeable future (I'm assuming he re-signs with St. Louis).

Think about it...Miller is still young, he doesn't have a backup goalie who is a serious threat, Hitchcock's teams play solid defense, and St. Louis is arguably the best team in the NHL and will be among the best for the next few years at least.

When I try to think of goalies I value more than Miller right now, regardless of the stats, the only obvious one right now is Rask. The Rangers are a mess, so I don't trust Lundqvist as much as I used to. Price is a great option, but I'd probably take Miller over him at this point. Fleury, Quick, Crawford...I'd probably go with Miller over all of them.

The way things have been going since the trade, I would go with Miller as well.

so even with Rinne, i should consider keeping Miller instead? i have thought about it....just tough to let go of Rinne. Do you see Miller > Rinne?

Rinne is 2 years younger so not a huge difference. STL is much "better" than NSH, so that's a plus for Miller. Neither have a legit backup pressuring them. Tough call right?

That's a very tough call. I still would keep Rinne over Miller though.. Miller isn't guaranteed to come back to STL YET!

I'm assuming you don't have to make your decision yet. If Miller re-signs with St. Louis, as I suspect he will, I would without question keep him over Rinne.

If you have to decide now, then it is a tough call and I'd probably keep Rinne to be safe (though I can't imagine why you'd have to decide now).

Nashville sucks, so you're not going to get many wins out of Rinne.

Miller >>> Rinne in your league since it doesn't even count SV%.

Miller is the choice here if he stays in STL. They will have a very good team for the next few years and Miller will thrive under Hitchcock's system.
