    Question Hedman, Shattenkirk or Kronwall

Who should I keep? I'm leaning towards Hedman.

Team from my signature, keepers are usually forward-heavy in this league so I'm probably only keeping one D.

    Forwards:
Duchene, Hall, Ryan, Spezza, Johansen, Ladd, Moulson, Vrbata, Galchenyuk, Bozak, Huberdeau, Nyquist

    Defense:
    Kronwall, Shattenkirk, Hedman, Streit

    Goalies:

I voted Hedman. Young, on an up and coming team that is bound to score even more in the future, is already outpointing shattenkirk this year, and has been able to find the net this year (11 G to shattenkirk's 9 G in fewer games, too). For me, I see them as Hedman > Shattenkirk > Kronwall, but all good options in your league setup of course.

Yeah, there really isn't much between them with our offense-focused scoring system. I'll keep a close eye on how Tampa's PP goes +Stammer and -Marty.

Keep in mind it will take time to get going as Stammer gets back in the groove and develops chemistry with new linemates. So I wouldn't focus too much on the rest of the season. Factor in that you could argue the Blues are overperforming offensively, and that most players on Tampa are still developing (Kucherov, etc) or have yet to enter the league (Druoin), I think it's a solid case for Hedman going forward. He's going to be the quarterback of that time especially, whereas St Louis can rely on other D to generate offense.

    If you're keeping a D, I'd go with Hedman.

You said your league typically keeps forwards. Does this mean you'd be able to re-draft Hedman in a reasonable round? In a keep 9 I don't think I'd keep anyone outside of Karlsson, Subban, Weber, Buff and maybe Doughty. I'd consider keeping either Ladd or Moulson as your final keeper and rely on your draft to fill your defense.

If you're only keeping one dman, I'd make it Shattenkirk over Hedman. Hedman is great, but I like Shattenkirk's offensive potential more.

Keeping only forwards + Miller might be the best choice. I have 4 2nd round picks next year so I could sort out my defense early in the draft.

I could try and grab Kuznetsov when he's added to Yahoo and keep him over Ladd & Moulson.

That's quite a risky move and one I would not advise. In a 10-team keep 9, I can't see having him as a keeper over your other options as worthwhile. I'd rather target him later in the draft next year if you want to take that chance. But yes, keeping only forwards + Miller might be appropriate.

True, but it's hard not getting caught up in all of the hype I should know better though, I took a flyer on Radulov when he came back to NSH too!

Blue Deuces for me! Shattenkirk is a solid defender with a lot of offensive upside. Hedman would be a close 2nd, IMO.
