    Default Evander for Yakupov

Straight up who will be better long term? Both on garbage teams. Kane racks up pims and yakupov has ridiculous potential. (He wants my 1st round pick (7th pick)

Goal-heavy with PIMs? Even with the injury risk, I'll take Kane.

Yes, Yakupov was a 1st overall pick and has the pedigree advantage. Yes, Yakupov probably has a higher raw-upside. Still ... I'll take Kane.

    Kane.

By like, a solid country mile. More SOG, more goals, more PIM, more ice time, more everything.

I'm an Oiler fan, and I would take 1 Kane over 2 Yakupovs in any format.

Tough to give a 100% answer either way. My thoughts are:

Kane - less risk since he has SOG and PIMs to fall back on for value. The issue is whether his points ever rise above the high 50s or low 60s
Yakupov - Considerably more risk, since he doesn't do much in the peripheral categories. But retains higher upside (40 goals, 80+ points)

Depends on how risk averse you are IMO. Hope that helps!
I once traded Henrik Lundqvist and Ilya Kovalchuk in return for Peter Budaj and Henrik Zetterberg… have lived in shame ever since.

thats my worry, is that he wont break 60s. the only roto is PIMs that's counted. I guess I'll stick with kane. its just that yakupov's value cant get any lower right now.

    Kane > Yakupov

I'm getting off the Yakopuv bandwagon now. I know I might regret it later on, but I think it'll be a few years before we see Edmonton be relevant. I'm a huge E. Kane fan though. I think his value is at an all-time low, and I think owners should pounce on the chance if they can trade for him; huge discount due to his poor year (injuries suck).
