    Default Burns...

So I dropped him recently and he scores a goal and then two more tonight...is this a flash in the pan? Anyone watch the game, was he on the top line? Wondering if I should pick him back up quickly, drop Granlund or Nyquist.

You only start 4 D, I see no reason to have 5 on your roster. I'd drop Johnson for Burns, even if Burns only has forward eligibility.

In that case I feel Trouba might be a better drop, he hasn't played well and I certainly have less faith in the Jets than I do in the Jackets.

Your perogative. You know your league better but I'd choose Trouba over JJ. Just personally.

It's not so much about my league, it's more so the fact that Trouba plays for the Jets...I feel like JJ has the higher upside with the Jackets. Seems close though, anyone else got an opinion?

Drop Nyquist in a 1 year in this format for Burns. He doesn't make your top 9 forward slots IMO.

    C: Stamkos, Backes,
    LW: Neal, Parise,
    RW: P. Kane, Ryan,
Util: Spezza, Krejci, and any one of the following instead of Nyquist

Johanson, Nash, Voracek, Granlund, Eberle, Iginla, Simmonds

As for your D, having 6 when you play 4 is still a good move, safety wise. If Burns gets dual eligibility, it's an added bonus.

not a flash in the pan, he has been putting plenty of SOG, its about time he starts scoring again. nevermind his spectacular peripherals from the game as well.

he'll be back up on the top line.

I got nervous and shipped him away in my one-year league. Everyone who owns him can thank me for his upcoming scoring streak.

I got nervous in my keeper and shipped him away too. But that was mainly because with him and Buff playing forward, I was severely lacking blocks. I got Weber in return for him which should be a big win in a keeper, but holy is Burns a beast with his style of game. Can't help but wonder why he was ever taken off the first line... the guy controls the pace of the game out there and raises the intensity to a new level.

Burns is streaky, I expect him to go on a nice tear down the stretch. He plays with premier line-mates and will put up forward stats from a d slot......55-60 point player that shoots and hits a ton makes him a monster if he has D eligibility in your league. I was able to add him at the deadline, all my other D are solid in the blocked shot dept and I could afford the hit there in exchange for the huge boosts in the other cats.

I've been watching Sharks games and he's been very active and extremely engaged the last couple of games.....tons of chances, shooting a ton, hitting. He's also hit a few posts and could have easily had a couple more goals the last 2 games. Even still, 6 shots, 5 hits, 2 PIM, 2 goals last night....yes please!
