Ehlers is ranked as the 13th best North American skater in the final Central Scouting report (but up from 22nd). While he has an excellent chance of being a top-10 pick (and I think he will be), I would not call it guaranteed or a lock.

24 points in 8 playoff games thus far. His shot totals are fairly insane too. Finished the year with more points than last and in fewer games + no Mackinnon. IF he finds instantaneous chem with Stammer, look out.

No, people dispute because every year people think that some players won't drop, then they do, then they call them steals, etc. etc. etc.

Nothing is guaranteed...that's all. I wouldn't bet on him being Top 10, and I wouldn't bet on him not being Top 10.
