Slap that C on Steve Stamkos!
Reimer may very well get traded today, but it won't be to Calgary. Organizationally, I can promise you they are happy and very high on both Berra and Ramo, and they also like Ortio and Gilles a lot. No chance they are trading for Reimer. I highly doubt buffalo would either, they'd rather see what they have in Enroth/Hackett and sign help in the offseason if they need to.
I guess the NYR 1st being in 2015 makes it a little better?
13 team Keeper, top 8F, 4D and 2G count. 1pt G/A, 2pt W/SO.

Interesting trade. I wasn't thinking it would actually happen.
Does it make sense to trade St. Louis for a rental if he doesn't want out?!

My main league:
Disagree? Guy took his ball and went home like a whiny little b**** because he felt slighted by not being named to the Olympic team. Turns out when he went he played like a marginal bit player and showed that he deserved to be a guy on the bubble. Supposed to be the captain leading he's team and he request a trade in the middle of the season in the midst of the team performing above their heads after losing Stamkos?
No reason to derail this thread, but he could have waited until the offseason to request a trade. True lack of character, he's a selfish little kid who can't get over his own over-inflated ego. Tampa is better off without him, let's see NK with Stamkos. Stammer will forget all about that little pip-squeak immediately.
Does NYR try to replace some of the toughness, physicality, etc. that they lost in Callahan?
Tough to replace a player like Callahan, most guys who play that way aren't skilled enough for top 6. They might try to, but they'd need to get like Backes or Brown to do it.
I like Kucherov, but there are very few players in the league who are going to step in beside Stamkos and hold a candle to what St. Louis did in that spot. Kucherov might be one of those guys some day, but expecting a guy of his age and experience level to fill those shoes right now is unreasonable.
