But does that matter right now? If you are ready to win, yeah you can worry about size, but when you are in a full-on rebuild, why pass on free talent and tenacity? Get as many good pieces as you can, worry about the shape of what you are building later. I wouldn't rule out Bargain Bin Garth on Conacher either. He's certainly taken chances on plenty of guys in the past, and it has worked for him a few times.

I am hoping Linden Vey is part of the Gabby deal. I love this kid and is having a hard time breaking through in the LA system. I think he would be a solid asset to get in return for Gabby.

Agree. Consider it an audition for Conacher in Buffalo. If it doesn't work out in the next 20 games, let him walk.

If Martin St. Louis is traded to New York for Ryan Callahan and two draft picks - those draft picks better be 1st rounders. Because:

1. Callahan is a Band-Aid Boy
2. Callahan overprices himself, so they shouldn't re-sign him. So he's a rental
3. Callahan isn't that great. I mean, come on - he's a second liner with hustle and grit and leadership. But St.Louis has a lot of that as well.

TB has an awesome team and shouldn't trade St. Louis at all.

Well if St Loius to NYR for Callahan is true, Dobber gets to test his theory with regard to Stamkos needing St Louis in order to produce at his elite level.

Seems there should be more going to Tampa. Yes, Tampa seems to be under pressure to move him, but NYR is also moving out a problem of their own. The sweeteners should be bigger than a 1st and 2nd.
