Their scoring numbers are pretty close, along with their PIM and hits. Kane has a huge advantage in shots and that's the decider. Plus the fact he's younger and probably has some more growth to his game.

Lucic over Kane any day.
Kane is one of those guys who is forever hyped but will never live up to expectations for one reason or another. He is starting to look like a band-aid boy in the making too.
Admittedly the 'band-aid boy" status is beginning to be a concern. But Kane is gold when playing, his shot totals alone make him worth the risk over Lucic...imo. In fact, I would bet the number of games in which Lucic disappears is equivalent to the number of IR days taken by Kane.Originally posted by blayze View Post

Looch is muh more expirience but I consider Kane a little bit more a difference maker.
Forget the hype, he already delivers. More pims in less games this year. On pace for 325+ shots. He's even pulling in some blocks. Wouldn't surprise me if he still manages to pots 30 goals. And he still has room to grow.
I also like players from teams who are usually shooting for a playoff spot come spring. Boston usually coasts in while Winnipeg may be in dogfight.
This ones going to be really close

I think blayze has a valid point to consider with regard to Kane's injuries...unfortunately.
