Lost Tavares and Zetterberg, trying to fill the void. Thoughts on this trade?

Fighting for first in my Dynasty League, and the top 3 teams are within 1 point of each other! Worst possible time to lose JT and Zetterberg for the final stretch.

Picked up Vermette and Frolik off the FA pool in the meantime .. it was slim pickings so I'm thinking I need to make one final move.

I have received the following offer for my Erik Karlsson:

My Karlsson for his Jeff Carter, Brad Marchand, and Kevin Bieksa

I would then be dropping Vermette and Frolik in the process. The only thing I'm worried about is that Karlsson has an extremely cheap salary and can be used as a part of my core going forward for years to come.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!

I can see no real scenario where I'd move Karlsson for that kind of return. It's hard to do the math on the scoring cats you have but I suspect that Karlsson must be up there in this format value wise isn't he?

not enough value. the only value you get out of this is a chance at taking the win... and are those players going to guarantee that? if not, how much do those players increase your chances at the win?

I am not sure whether it s daily or weekly starts, which would impact the advice as package deals are far more lucrative with daily starts than weekly ones. I lost Zetts and Tavares too, so I feel your pain. However, I would not trade Karlsson for anything like what you've been offered. Karlsson is the "Crosby" of defencemen. Approach it that way.

You're sitting in last in the points category already, so I don't see how this helps you. Perhaps I am missing something, but I don't think that offer for Karlsson comes close to fair.
