Evander Kane or Huberdeau
League in Signature. Been trying to acquire Evander Kane. I know he is highly regarded (Kane), but am I the only one started to wonder of he is going to meet expectations. Yes he is only 22, but its his fifth season.
Is Huberdeau the right price tag? Not enough? too much?

Huberdeau is definitely not enough for Evander Kane.
Kane has been slowed by injuries, but in your format, he's worth so much when he is healthy. I'd try selling Eberle or RNH for Kane. Your league doesn't count face-offs, so I think that makes RNH less valuable.

Don't think you'll be able to acquire Kane for Huberdeau.
I still think Kane is a valuable asset. I think you could package Huberdeau and Kreider to get the conversation started.

Honestly, with those cats, if you believe in Huberdeau you shouldn't offer that deal even if he might not accept it. Kane's got a hell of a lot of potential but I've never been a fan. If your league had hits or shots I might think differently but with so much bent towards scoring I'd prefer to have Huberdeau over the long haul.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. Was surprised to see other posters valuing Kane so highly in this format with the heavy emphasis on points. Huberdeau has the higher ceiling, I believe, although you may have to wait a couple years. But then it looks like your team is built to wait.Originally Posted by metaldude26

Maybe you can toss Yak out there if he gets traded into a better situation. His talent is there, and will produce on a top 6 situation with a skilled center. However, E.Kane's trade value is huge because hes 22 and still putting up points
