    Default Keeper League Salaries

Hey guys, this is my first post on this site. I have a 16 team keeper league that has been going on for six years and creating our salaries has been a pain every year. We had first adopted the strategy of using stats from year to year, but this inflated 1 offs as well as deflated injured players salaries. So we then went to using three year averages but the problem we face is the amount of work that has to be done to offset big injuries to players or lock out years which lower all averages.

I was wondering if any of you have a spreadsheet that calculates salaries based on games played or how you guys go about calculating your salaries in your leagues.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum I couldn't decide which was the best fit.

    Thanks in advance!

Hey Palmer, welcome. Sorry for the approval delay

Why not go by actual salary, or an auction system? Pay what you can afford, and have X number of 1,2,3,4,5 year contracts

We use actual player salaries in my leagues, not cap hits and we use Cap Geek for our salaries.

I am in different leagues that will use both, cap hit and actual salaries. Capgeek is the best site to use and they even have a calculator option at the top that I use a lot called Fantasy Calculator. You simply select the players on your fantasy team and enter them into the fantasy calculator and it will calculate your totals. You can tell it to use cap hits or salaries then at the bottom, you can have it set the roster as a "text" option for you to save. Its awesome.
