Looking to make a move on Tavares.
Tavares owner in playoffs I'm out of playoffs right now. I have Giroux or Hall to offer for Tavares. Which one should I offer? I traded Seguin for Giroux to Tavares owner a couple of months ago. He also needs another goalie. League in Sig. Thanks

I would want to try and keep Giroux and Hall, but I would trade anyone else on your roster for him. See if you can interest him in a package of Hossa, Huberdeau, Yandle, Anderson for Tavares and a bunch of scrubs.
I wouldn't take that personally, but start there. If you have to move Giroux or Hall, it's of less benefit to you. Probably Hall because positions don't matter and he is more of an injury concern and likely doesn't have the Tavares upside.

Sigh. Alright then. Again, I would try to keep Giroux and Hall if possible. So I would include a package of the following: OEL or Suter, whichever he likes more, Johansen and whichever goalie he likes best. Maybe add Scheifele, Tarasenko or Kreider as well. Whatever it takes really. I still wouldn't take that, but you need to start somewhere. Otherwise Hall + non-keeper for Tavares probably works if he wants to compete this year.

You're not going to get Tavares unless you move Hall or Giroux. Even in that case, as a Tavares owner, i'd expect more.

He's got a shot with the injury to get him a little cheaper if the Tavares owner really wants to take a shot at winning this year. Otherwise I agree with you.
