Evgeny Kuznetsov has inked an entry-level contract with the Washington Capitals.
The CBC's Elliotte Friedman is reporting that it's a two-year deal. TSN's Bob McKenzie commented that Kuznetsov will arrive in Washington Saturday afternoon and he'll be in the lineup for his NHL debut on Monday night versus Pittsburgh. The Capitals were believed to be close to getting their highly touted prospect in the fold and he's finally ready to start his NHL career.

Guy has him already in my keeper league but his asking price is pretty steep. IMO he puts up 30-30 kind of numbers when he gets going but I hope Im wrong and he exceeds those expectations.

If I decipher the CBA correctly, his cap hit should be $900,000 per year, but his AAV could be slightly higher with performance bonuses.
