    Default Trade Offers

I have been given two offers from the same GM in my points only full keeper league.

The first one is Oshie and Ellis (from his team) for Duncan Keith from me

    And

The second one is Oshie and Ellis from him, for Hedman from me.

What are thoughts on either one?

My initial gut feeling is to pass on either. Any help or advice?

Without knowing your team it's tough. But, I like Oshie and Ellis for Hedman. I really don't think Hedman is ever going to realize his potential.

I would pass, unless you're in terrible need of a forward. I'm assuming that's Ryan Ellis, not Dan (which would make the offer even worse)

I don't like the Keith offer. He is to good to move. But I would jump all over the Hedman offer, Oshie has shown strong growth and I do think Ellis has a good offensive career ahead of him. Hedman will be good but I think Ellis has more offensive potential.

Take the Hedman offer. You already have a big time stud in Keith, that gives u rom to move other dmen, Oshie is a good young forward, Ellis will develop into a great offensive damn, and depth wins pools. A 2 for 1 deal like that is a good one in my eyes.

I think you'd end up regretting trading Hedman, he is just hitting his stride.

Dont trade either of them, its harder to find point producing defensemen than forwards.

Both offers are pretty lousy...keep Keith/Hedman unless a much better fantasy forward is offered. Not one who just became a national idol due to his shootout heroics.

Ha ha ha, no kidding, i was joking around with this guy about that yesterday, but in all fairness, the trade was offered before that occurred.

I'm not a fan of either trade, to be honest. I'd keep what you have now. Hedman is a rising defensive star, in my opinion, and I think Keith can keep up this pace the rest of the season. Oshie doesn't really do much for me in fantasy; hold your blue liners.

Oshie will barely crack your top 12 forwards, while you would be moving out a key defensemen. Your league player breakdown favours defensemen as well. Don't make either trade, as you would come out on the short end each time.

Not crazy about the Keith offer, but the Hedman one looks decent.

So far the consensus is that Keith is a "no go".
Hard to find D-Men who produce...Hedman continues to improve and is starting carve out PP time on a team that looks to be building something special.
I'm tainted by my own trade in acquiring Hedman this year but I'd keep him.

I find it rather curious that 3 of the 4 posters advocating trading Hedman only have one post recently, and it's in this thread.
