    Default Nyquist or Strome

For next year and beyond in a Pts only league, which one would be the best bet?

    Thanks

I would be surprised if anyone came on here and replied to this question with any other answer but Strome..

I'm a big fan of Nyquist, and I think he will be a really good player for Detroit, but Strome will have tons of opportunity in New York. I feel his potential has a better chance of being reached. But again this is just my opinion..

    And I own Gustav!!

I wouldn't give up my Nyquist for Strome in a million years. Take the sure thing, that's more proven. So be surprised, Zorro my man!

Wow, I am very surprised.. I love your enthusiasm Dobber..

I sure hope you are right.. I just feel Nyquist is hot right now because he has been playing with Zetterberg.. And I feel Strome can come in and carry his own line.. Especially playing behing Tavares..

Nyquist's upside isn't that much less significant than Strome, in term of realistic projections for both...I'd take Nyquist as well if only be a hair.

Also voted for Nyquist in the poll because I have no idea who Strombe is.

I took Strome in the pool and echo zorro's thoughts on the matter.

I also own Nyquist in 5 pools and while Strome is one of my favorite prospects have not been able to obtain him yet.

I'd take Nyquist. I think he's the real deal and that he can become the next Zetterberg. Also Detroit has plenty of talent coming from the Griffins what should make them better next season and beyond.
I like Strome's upside, but he's not Tavares and I just don't trust the Isles.

    Strome for me.
Nyquist is better now but he struggles a bit when zetts is out.
Nyquist is also older so that benefits him for the short term
I just feel stroke should out point nyquist in a few years. Will he? Who knows. But in this situation I'm gambling and going for big score

Nyquvist for the next year, but Strome will get every opportunity to succeed and he is incredibly skilled.

    Strome for me !

I'll take Strome here ....but I'm a biased Strome owner and have been waiting on him for a few years.

I own Nyquist in my pts only keeper and I wouldn't trade him straight up for Strome. Having said that, I've never been high on Strome so I might be biased.

I've never really been as high on Strome as most guys around here, and Nyquist is clearly a producer in the NHL already. Even if Strome may have a few points on Nyquist in terms of raw upside - which is debatable in itself - I'll take the guy who is producing right now and who has a concrete spot on a scoring line.

New York Islanders and their tendency to break confidence of there young talent makes Nyquist my choice by a landslide.

Strome will be great with Tavares and Co. but I think Gustav Nyquist is a very special talent and will be a force in fantasy for years to come. LET THE GOOSE LOOSE!!
