    Default Simmonds sustainable?

Close to 100 games now at about 0.7 ppg. Do you see anyone threatening his pp time or 2nd line spot, or is he now a legitimate too 50-75 forward in multicat leagues?

    I'd say he's legit.

His last full season was 49pts, 115pims.

He had over 80pims last year, with a prorated 50-55 points.

Definitely looks like he's solidifying a spot on the first PP unit in Philly, too.

    That measures up fairly well.

Simmonds is one tough hombre. I said before he went to Philly he looked like he could become a 30 goal power forward and I remember people scoffing at the notion with great disdain. Anyways, he's definitely entering the Milan Lucic-level of fantasy production in terms of consistent goals/points + PIMs

I wouldn't count on him for more than 65 points a year. He could get more but I think its unlikely and if he does it will be a special year that he won't repeat often. For most seasons he will probably be around 45-60 points. For multicat leagues though this guy is really valuable.

Yeah, I think Simmonds is pretty dependable when it comes to fantasy value. He does a lot of things to help you.

He plays a hard game and I'd like to see him succeed...tough to maintain that type of play...remember when Hartnell was the toast of Philly?
