    Default Anyone better than Wheeler?

Any of these guys better than Wheeler? I do need a left wing...

Granlund, Saad, Flash, ROR, Huberdeau, Hagelin, Killorn...

I would think you could trade Wheeler for something better than those guys, if you really needed to.

I would rather have Wheeler over any of those.

Not for me... WPG shuffled it's lines recently to "try" to balance scoring.
Ladd-Little-Setoguchi (this is normally Wheeler's RW spot)
E.Kane-Jokinen-Wheeler (but E.Kane has been injured)

So Winnipeg is winning and Wheeler is playing on a line with O.Joke & Tangradi!!!
I've said it before... Wheeler doesn't create his own offense (a lot)... he needs linemates.
No linemates, no output. (or very little output for this lad, puns intended)

    Killorn for me.
Wheeler is one of the more over-rated NHL players, my opinion.
Dobber (who had him pegged for 75pts) loves him, I don't.

    In a shallow (8-team) one-year league, I have no problems straight-cutting Wheeler.

If you watch enough Jets game, wheeler creates more then enough offense regardless of his linemates. Lines have been shuffled, but Kane's injury isn't serious and things will be back to normal shortly. The Jets did the same thing last year, and wheeler was fine

    giff9,
You have to go much deeper than "wheeler was fine" on this fantasy advice.

    Look at this guys team:
    3C
    2LW
4RW (and all four are RW only)

He's likely starting 2C/2LW/2RW... and Wheeler is his 4th RW.
He's not going to start him over Ovechkin/Kessel.
And I personally wouldn't start Wheeler over Vrbata.

This means that he's unlikely to get Wheeler in the line-up much.
This guy might as well get a 3rd eligibile LW (Killorn, who is also C-eligible).
At least he can probably get some starts from Killorn (who is riding 3rd guy on the Stammer/MSL line).

Even if Killorn falls off that line, he can just look for another hot LW.

Wheeler, as #4 RW only, is just not a good fit on this guy's team.
In an 8-team league, there's going to be almost nobody looking to add a guy like Blake Wheeler. Might as well cut him.
