Yakupov's value on the Rangers
Rumour has him possibly going to the Rangers. We know Edmonton was scouting them for a good Dman and the Rangers could move a couple. If it happens what does this do to Yakupovs value compared to staying in Edmonton with a coach that he clearly has tuned out like the rest of the team has.

it is difficult enough to gauge the actual Rangers players value on the Rangers
why not wait for a trade before trying to determine a make believe Rangers value
As a canucks fan I can tell you that Vigneault is widely criticized as being terrible at developing prospects, but now that I look at it the only one he really blew it on is Grabner. He never had a high end prospect like Yakupov to work with, so who knows. He is known as being a defence-first team-oriented coach and did well with two-way players like burrows, kesler, hansen, etc. so maybe he'll bench yakupov just like eakins is. But then again I could also see Yak excelling there, without so many young scorers to compete with for icetime, and playing on that number one power play unit sniping home brad richards passes. In short, I could see it going either way.
