You gotta always play your best two.

    Rask and Niemi.

If you go against that reasoning, you will get burned more times than not.

I completely disagree with "playing your best two".
I keep see people posting this.

USUALLY, it will be your best two... but match-ups are important.

    Detroit is struggling to score.
    VAN has been solid.
PIT has struggled recently... but that won't last forever, we know this.

    Niemi & Luongo, for me.

We shall see Pengwin, we shall see....

I partially agree with you though as I do consider match-ups - but only if it is VERY favourable. I see Rask as always having to be a must start, whereas the others can be more debatable. I have gotten burned way more times than not by trying to play matchups instead of my top goalies.

I'll stick with my suggestion of Rask and Niemi, and if Rask posts better stats then I think it is only fair that I am seen as the unanimous leader on dobberhockey, and Pengwin merely be a bench warmer.

Don't start Luongo or Rask. I'm starting them.

In all seriousness...I don't want to start Rask against the Pens...I'd probably go with the other two.

I was gonna pick Rask and Niemi. I like Luongo vs Detroit over Rask vs Pit, but I think Rask and Bos will want to bounce back after that bad game vs NJ.

Wait, someone on here said that and now the masses are all chanting the same mantra??? Shocking!

I agree with Pengwin on this one, if you're trying to decide between 2 of those guys and Ray Emery then the choice is easy. But when you've got 3 of the best guys to own you're likely to get good performances out of all them and so it behooves you to be smart and look at the matchups and recent trends of the respective teams

I would go Rask and Niemi, and I'm a luongo fan lol.

Rask put up a 4-spot to NEW JERSEY (!!!), but he's only given up 3+ twice this year. Highly unlikely he does it back to back. EDIT: Shiiiiit, in 9 starts he's given up 2+ only 3 times lol. Expect another 1 tonight?

Niemi being Niemi and the Kings being the Kings, I like that matchup over Lu vs Detroit... I'm scared of Detroit at ALL times.
