I know most people dont care about him but Fleury owners should. He left Saturday's game agianst the leafs after a hit from Clarkson, he was favouring his left leg/knee.

only update I have seen on twitter:
    Pens Inside Scoop ‏@PensInsideScoop 4m
Injured Saturday vs. TOR -MC “@penguins: Rob Scuderi returned to Pittsburgh and will be re-evaluted this afternoon, per coach Bylsma

Bob McKenzie now reporting that it is a broken ankle. Yikes!

@TSNBobMcKenzie : "@penguins:Rob Scuderi has broken ankle. Will require surgery later this week. No timetable."/ Hmm, knew it was bad but not this bad.

Does this put paid to any chances that PIT may have had for the cup this season?

He's a great defensive D, but last I checked a broken bone is roughly a 4-6 week timetable [unless there's something additional here I'm missing]. How does losing Scuderi until mid-Dec. hurt PIT's CUP aspirations? They're still going to win lots and be right there in the hunt come April.

As a M-A. Fleury owner I suspect his GAA and SV% could dip a bit, but the team did just add Letang back so it should be a marginal statistical slide.

    Had surgery...expected out 6-8 weeks. We're looking at a mid-late Dec. return.

Ok, that sounds a lot better - misunderstood the extent of the injury.
