Goligoski for Yakapoff
I've got it...trade Goligoski to Buffalo for Tallinder!
Ruff likes Tallinder and can pair him with Gonchar and Buffalo could use an offensive dman.

How about putting Goli back on the number one pp with Gonch and Benn and Seguin and whoever else. The guy is good and he should be given the opportunity to play again. Ruff is over reacting and this is the problem with guys like him and Hitchcock.
Head to Head League: 1 point for G, 1 point for A. 2 for Goalie win, 3 for SO.
Start 6 guys every week. 3 O, 2 D and 1G. No substitutions once they are in (before the first game starts on Monday).
Protect 3 players every year in keeper.
10 rounds of drafting
F: Crosby, Point, P. Kane, JVR, Kopitar, Rakell, Tarasenko,
D: Letang, Doughty, Karlsson, Grzelcyk, Faulk,
G: Bob, Shesterkin, Demko, Kahkonen
Gonchar finished 11th in Dman scoring last year - a disappointing start to say the least
Both have lots of time to turn it around, but I think a lot more was expected as everyone saw them on the first PP with Seguin/Benn/? and expected huge numbers.
Morning skate update: Stars shuffle defense pairs and put Alex Goligoski back in vs. Winnipeg
http://starsblog.dallasnews.com/2013...nclick_check=1“I want to see Alex’s reaction to coming out and going back in. I also want to see the match-up we want with him,” said Ruff. “We’re going to look at a couple of possibilities tonight. Alex might get some time with Daley. Those bottom four, we’re going to try either/or during the game.”
Goligoski was a healthy scratch last season and came back with nine assists in the next 12 games. He currently has 0 points in eight games and is minus-10. Ruff said they would like him to improve his defense, but that they really want to see him control the puck and help create offense.
“I think first it starts with defending,” Ruff said. “Alex hasn’t been happy with the way he has defended _ start in you own end and play well there. We know what he can bring to us offensively, and those are the tools that when he gets up ice, we want him to use.”
Goligoski said he prepares for each game the same, so a healthy scratch doesn’t affect him much, other than making sure he’s fresh.
“You get a little rest and then come out hard,” he said.
You better come out hard ... You Stiff!
well, if the first 10 minutes are any indication... goligoski is going to be in the press-box again for the next game. it has nothing to do with him not putting up points, he is just a bad defenceman.
I didn't watch the game, but just under 20 mins in ice time and 3 SOG is encouraging

Effectively no PP time for Goligoski. Most of it went to Robidas with 2nd PP minutes going to Daley/Gonchar.
Hold the f***ing presses, Goligoski just scored on the Power Play. It's about time Goli.
Haha! Just came to see if this got posted!
Finally. Hopefully this gets him started.

About freakin time. Please God, let it rain. (points that is.)
Perhaps of note -- He was still on what most would call the 2nd pp unit (Peverly, Nichushkin, Cole and Jordie Benn) who each had about 2:40 on the pp tonight --- as opposed to the 1st unit (talent-wise) of Seguin, Jamie Benn, Chiasson, Gonchar and Whitney, who were all on for less time, about 2:12. ---- Just stating that his personnel hasn't changed to the best case scenario -- but thankfully he got more time out there and got a friggin marker.
